We not only manufacture soft PVC films, protective mats, sheets, welding protection curtains, strip curtains and bullet traps - we also handle the finishing of the soft PVC through to the finished product in downstream production steps.

The finishing processes include CNC-controlled cutting of the products to the required dimensions and shapes, welding, and individually designed printing by digital print. This gives our customers comprehensive support and enables everything from a single source - customers do not have to approach several companies to customise their soft PVC product.

Extrusion

As an experienced specialist in the manufacture of soft PVC films, strip curtains, welding protection curtains and protective mats “Made in Germany”, we use specially designed systems for soft PVC extrusion. These allow us to manufacture a wide variety of products with material thicknesses between 0.5 mm and 12 mm and a maximum web width of 2,200 mm.

Our special extrusion process enables us to produce transparent PVC products in clear and in blue transparency. On request, opaque colours according to the RAL colour palette as well as individual special colours can be realised at any time.

How does extrusion work?

Extrusion is a manufacturing process in which a mixture of soft PVC (polyvinyl chloride) or soft PVC granulate is converted into a plastic, mouldable mass by heating and the application of mechanical energy. This is done using an extruder and special slot dies. By combining thermal and mechanical energy, the material can be brought into the desired shape, allowing us to ensure a consistently high quality standard.

After the actual extrusion process, the soft PVC product is further processed in our smoothing system, where it is smoothed, cooled and drawn off without tension to achieve its final shape and texture.

Digital printing

We produce high-quality digital printing directly onto the soft PVC products we manufacture. Our modern CNC-controlled flatbed printers deliver precise, first-class print results that make our customers' products unique.

Reverse (mirror) printing

Transparent films can be printed in mirror image on the underside, which has a positive effect on the durability of the print. Printing on the underside of a transparent film protects the print against abrasion - a particular advantage for products such as floor protection mats, table overlays or mousepads, where high resistance of the printed image to everyday stress is required.

Welding

Thanks to our advanced welding techniques, we can create soft PVC products to measure. Strips and webs of soft PVC can be joined seamlessly by hot-air or butt welding. This makes it possible to extend the width of our products beyond the standard production dimensions.
